MEMORANDUM

JOHN E. MILLER, Senior District Judge.

This case was tried to a jury on October 30-31, 1967, and resulted in an award to plaintiff in the sum of $15,000. The defendants have filed a motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and, alternatively, for a new trial, and have submitted a brief in support of the motion.

The motion and brief in support thereof were served upon the attorneys for the plaintiff on November 7, 1967. They have not had time in which to file a response to the motion or to submit brief in opposition thereto, but the court is of the opinion that no useful purpose…
