This case, now at the summary judgment stage, involves claims that state parole officials, in portions of 2012, 2013, and 2014, unconstitutionally deprived plaintiff *689John Doe (“Doe”) of access to his infant child. Doe earlier had been convicted of sexual offenses against a teenage girl, for which he served more than eight years in prison.
