After a bench trial in the criminal court of Cook County the defendant, Harold Sellers, was convicted of burglary and sentenced to a term of four to seven years in the penitentiary. On this writ of error he contends that the indictment did not adequately inform him of the charges against him; that there was a fatal variance between the indictment and the proof; that certain evidence was erroneously admitted; that the evidence did not establish his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt and that the sentence was excessive and disproportionate.
