{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant, David G. Mattox, appeals from his convictions on a series of charges under R.C. 2905.01(A)(4), 2907.02(A)(1)(b), 2907.05(A)(4) and 2907.323(A)(1). Mattox argues that his convictions *1142 should be vacated because the trial court erred by refusing to suppress statements he made during interviews at the Miami Township Police Department; by overruling his motion for acquittal under Crim.R. 29 ; and by disregarding the manifest weight of the evidence in finding him guilty.
