MEANEY, District Judge.

In an information filed by the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey on July 8, 1943, against the Zentz Motor Lines, the government charged the defendant, in 20 counts, with engaging in the transportation of property in interstate commerce, for compensation, as a common carrier by motor vehicle, without the requisite operating authority from the Interstate Commerce Commission.
