Groover and Pruett personally guaranteed a note in the principal amount of $2,100,000 given by Millennium Development II Corporation (Millennium) to Commercial Bank of Georgia (Commercial Bank). After Millennium defaulted on the note and Commercial Bank assigned the note to Commercial Bancorp of Georgia, Inc. (Commercial Bancorp), Commercial Bancorp sued Groover and Pruett to collect on the note pursuant to the guarantees.
