Nellie McDonald recovered a judgment in the court of common pleas of Wyandotte county against the defendant below for $7500 by reason of the wrongful acts, neglect and default of the city in causing the death of her husband. Andrew J. McDonald was a member of the fire department of Kansas City, Kan., and the driver of a hook-and-ladder wagon.
