Appellant challenges the district court’s application of the United States Sentencing Commission Guidelines Manual (“U.S.S.G.”) to his sentence for unlawful possession of a firearm. He seeks review of the district court’s judgment that his prior conviction for statutory rape under Texas law was a “crime of violence” pursuant to guideline § 4B1.2(a), that his offense “involved” three firearms, and that he possessed firearms “in connection with” the felony offenses of drug possession and forgery.
