| ¡¿Defendant appeals his conviction of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. For the reasons which follow, we affirm defendant’s conviction and sentence.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

On August 23, 2006, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information charging defendant, Brian K. Massey, with possession with intent to distribute cocaine in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 A. Defendant was arraigned on October 25, 2006, and pled not guilty.
