This was an action to enjoin the collection of taxes levied against the plaintiffs in error for the year 1886, upon a herd of cattle that were kept in Maple Hill township, Wabaunsee county. After the cattle had been listed and assessed by the township assessor, the board of equalization met and increased the valuation of all cattle within the township 15 per cent., except those of the plaintiffs in error, the valuation of which was increased 25 per *426cent.
