BRUNETTI, Circuit Judge:

David P. Campbell appeals the district court’s order granting summary judgment in favor of the Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University (“Stanford”) that Stanford did not breach certain provisions of its contract with Campbell. Campbell also appeals the district court’s summary judgment order that the covenant not to compete in the Campbell-Stanford contract is not void as against public policy.
