Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 8 — 4), armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 18 — 2), armed violence (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 38, par. 33A — 2), and aggravated battery (Ill. Rev.
