Plaintiff-appellant Gertie Wilson appeals from an order of the district court affirming the Secretary’s denial of her claim for a period of disability and disability insurance benefits under sections 216(i) and 223 of the Social Security Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 416(i), 423. The issues raised on appeal are whether the district court erred in applying the doctrine of res judicata to deny judicial review of evidence submitted by plaintiff in support of her second application for benefits, and whether the Secretary’s decision denying her second application for benefits…
