RAKOFF, District Judge.

On June 9, 2004, the Government filed this cause of action to reduce to judgment the federal tax liabilities of defendant Charles Chrein, totaling $556,914.81 as of January 14, 2005 (with interest still accruing since then), for the following 11 years: 1981, 1982, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2002 (the “Relevant Tax Years”). 1 In addition, the original Complaint sought to foreclose on certain tax liens levied on real and personal property owned by Chrein, but on August 4, 2004, the Government filed an Amended Complaint that now…
