SWEENEY, Chief Judge.

This class action was brought in behalf of the minor negro children who reside in the City of Springfield, Massachusetts. They seek 1) a declaratory judgment that the defendants, by assigning plaintiffs to racially segregated schools, are denying to the plaintiffs their rights under the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, and 2) an injunction to bar the defendants from continuing to violate these rights.
