Plaintiff had verdict and judgment in the sum of $4,000 in this action brought by her for breach of promise of marriage. If the testimony offered by plaintiff including her own is to be believed, and the jury believed it, the engagement was entered into in the fall of 1916, and continued until the fall of 1922, when it was breached by defendant. Agreements to marry are not usually entered into under circumstances similar to those of commercial contracts, nor are their breaches usually so circumstanced.
