After a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Edward R. Korman, Chief Judge), defendant Anthony Spero was found guilty on a one-count indictment of conspiracy to commit racketeering, in violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), 18 U.S.C. § 1962(d).
