Appeal from Butler District Court. — Hon. J. B. Cleland, Judge. Actioit to recover for services as a teacher in the defendant district. On the twenty-ninth day of July, 1887, the president of the defendant’s board of directors entered into a written contract with the plaintiff, by which she was to teach in the school of the district for a period of nine months from the twenty-ninth day of August, 1887. I. The plaintiff’s right of recovery is dependent upon two ultimate facts: First, that she 1. schools: triuts;1 teaera: oomracts. had a legal contract of employment; second, ch- that she was wrongfully discharged therefrom.
