ORDER AND REASONS

FELDMAN, District Judge.

Before the Court is defendant’s motion for summary judgment against plaintiffs claim for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. For the reasons that follow, the motion is GRANTED.

Background

This is a diversity-based suit for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The defendant, CompuTrac 1 , first hired the plaintiff, Lisa S.
