Thompson, Justice.

Defendant Mark Wright was convicted of malice murder in connection with the death of Michael Platt. He appeals asserting, inter alia, the State violated his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent because the arresting officer testified that he did not make a statement at the time of his arrest. We find no error requiring reversal, and affirm.
