The appellant/plaintiff, a company in the business of preparing students for the Law School Admission Test, sued the appel-lee/defendant, a company that provides the same service, asserting a conversion claim based on the defendant’s alleged refusal to give the plaintiff emails that the defendant received from consumers who allegedly thought they sent their emails to the plaintiff but, in fact, sent their emails to the defendant.
