OPINION

HOWARD, Judge.

This is an appeal by the state from an order granting a motion to suppress evi dence. The state contends that the trial court erred in concluding that there were no exigent circumstances which would have allowed the police officers to enter the defendant’s motel room. We agree.

The testimony of Officers Hernandez and Cochran of the Tucson Police Department was as follows.
