Robotic Vision Systems, Inc. appeals from the summary judgment of the United States District Court for the Central District of California holding that U.S. Patent 5,463,227 is invalid on the grounds of failure to disclose the best mode of carrying out the invention and violation of the on-sale bar. Robotic Vision Sys., Inc. v. View Eng’g, Inc., No. 95-CV-7441, 1996 WL 383900 (C.D.Cal. Mar. 5, 1996).
