By this writ of error defendant, City of Chicago, seeks to reverse a judgment of $6,000, rendered against it after verdict on February 10, 1933, in an action for damages for personal injuries suffered by plaintiff and occasioned by her stumbling against and falling upon a certain water pipe or water shut-off box, maintained by defendant in a parkway between the curb and sidewalk on the south side of Washington boulevard and west of Laramie street in Chicago.
