At the trial the State offered evidence to prove and claimed to have proved that on February 1st, 1920, the accused was living in New. Haven with his wife in a two-room furnished apartment, pne room being used as a bedroom and one as a kitchen, and both had been employed in New Haven for three weeks or more.
