MEMORANDUM OPINION

Gabriela Carter (the “Debtor”) filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy relief and, through this adversary proceeding, now seeks to discharge her educational loan debt owed to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (“ISAC”) and Educational Credit Management Corporation (“ECMC”) under 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(8).1 For the rea*872sons that follow, the Court finds that the Debtor has failed to demonstrate that repayment of the loans would constitute an “undue hardship” pursuant to the statutory exception.
