This is an appeal by the landowners in a condemnation case in which the only question is the amount of interest allowed by the lower court on the judgment awarding compensation.

The appellants were the owners of real property located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 12, Range 24, Johnson County, Kansas, of which the appellee, The Board of Education of Common School Distinct No. 110 of Johnson County, under the right of eminent domain took 8.502 acres for school purposes.
