This is an appeal from the decree of the' circuit court for the county of Jackson, in chancery.

On the 18th of September, 1895, the Connecticut General Life-Insurance Company entered into an executory contract for the sale and conveyance to Thomas C. Wolcott of certain lands. The consideration was to be the sum of $2,600. Appellee went into possession at or about the dato of the contract. On the' 21st day of January, 1899, complainant was adjudged by the probate court to be insane.
