The plaintiff brought suit on the common counts and, before any default or judgment was rendered thereon, filed a bill of particulars of the items of his claim arising out of materials and labor furnished to the defendant in the performance of a contract or contracts in drilling three wells for the defendants. The action was in accordance with General Statutes § 52-113. Practice Book §§ 141, 800. The defendants filed a general denial.
