This is a claim for compensation under the Workmen’s Compensation Act. The trial court denied the claim and the plaintiff appeals.
The evidence shows that on May 15, 1947, Charles Muff was employed by the defendant Brainard as a carpenter. On that day Muff and Brainard were working on a new house. At the time of the alleged accident Muff was on the roof and Brainard was passing boards up to him. The record shows that the boards were 8 to 20 feet long, 8 inches wide and three-quarters of an *651inch in thickness. It was the usual type of lumber used for sheathing purposes.
