This appeal involves a dispute between a physician and the receiver of his professional malpractice insurance carrier over the timeliness of the filing of a proof of claim form involving a reported but unresolved malpractice claim. After the receiver found the claim to be untimely, the physician filed an objection in the liquidation proceeding pending in the Chancery Court for Davidson County.
