By the terms of the bond sued upon, as the same is described in the declaration, it was conditioned that J. C. Ferguson & Co. should at all times faithfully perform the duties of a warehouse proprietor or manager, and should “promptly pay or cause to be paid any damages sustained by any person or persons on account of neglect of duty, fault or fraud by said J.
