Paul D. Lytle (Claimant) appeals a determination of the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review (Board) which affirmed a referee’s denial of benefits.

*79The findings of fact leading to the Board’s disqualification of Claimant’s application for unemployment compensation benefits are as follows:

1. The claimant was last employed by Williamsport Steel Buie Die Service for eight and one-half months as a laborer at $3.15 per hour. The claimant’s last day of work was October 1, 1976.
