The plaintiffs, the wife and children of John J. Foley, Jr. (Foley), appeal from the entry of summary judgment against them. We granted their application for direct appellate review. Foley allegedly was assaulted by a fellow employee in the course of his employment at the defendant Boston Housing Authority’s (BHA) D Street housing project in South Boston.
