RUTLEDGE, Associate Justice.

The District Court denied appellant’s petition for a writ of habeas corpus. He sought release from imprisonment pursuant to a sentence on conviction for violating the pandering act. The petition alleged that appellant had been deprived unconstitutionally of his right of appeal, by action of the trial judge subsequent to the verdict. The present appeal is from the court’s denial of the petition, appellant being represented on appeal by counsel appointed by this court.
