Three cases, consolidated for the purpose of trial, arose from a back injury sustained by Louie A. Richard on November 10, 1949, while in the employ of Hudson Engineering Corporation, and. a subsequent automobile collision for which additional injury is asserted, which occurred on January 24, 1950, between Leonville and Opelousas in St. Landry Parish.
