FAY, Circuit Judge:
Appellant was convicted in an Alabama state court of child abuse, sexual abuse, and sodomy. The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed his conviction, and subsequently denied his petition for rehearing. Three years after the Alabama Supreme Court denied his Petition for Certio-rari, the appellant filed a petition for federal habeas corpus relief in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
