This interpleader action was tried before me without a jury by the consent of the parties. (Paper Nos. 50-51). The case arises out of multiple claims to funds owed by mechanical contractor Mecco, Inc. to a sheet metal subcontractor known as “Me-talMax” 1 for heating, ventilation and air conditioning work performed on various commercial construction projects.
