Defendant has filed a Post Conviction Hearing Act petition seeking credit for jail time spent in county prison prior to sentencing. He was sentenced to imprisonment on a burglary charge to date from November 10, 1976, the date of imposition of the sentence. No credit was given for time spent in Chester County prison prior to sentencing. In February of 1983, he filed an application for credit for time served in Chester County prison prior to imposition of the sentence. The application was denied by order dated March 2, 1983.
