This was an information in the nature of quo warranto, filed by leave of court in the circuit court of DeKalb county, against C. H. Altenberg, to inquire by what authority he held the office of alderman of the third ward of the city of Genoa, in said county. Appellant filed three pleas to this information, to which replications were filed concluding to the country, and similiters were filed thereto.
