Under the general laAV of the state, entitled “Of primary schools,” the several toAvnships are divided by the township boards of school inspectors into districts, each of which is a corporation, Avith officers chosen by its members, and Avith large powers in the establishment and control of schools, the management and disposition of school moneys, and the levying and collection of taxes.
