Plaintiffs Amusement Industry, Inc. and Practical Finance Co., Inc. (collectively, “Amusement”) have sued defendants Moses Stern, First Republic Group Realty, LLC (“FRG LLC”), First Republic Group Corp. (“FRG Corp.”), Ephraim Frenkel, Land Title Associates Agency, LLC (“LTA”), Joshua Safrin, and Avery Egert, seeking damages arising out of the loss of $13 million given to Stern ostensibly to purchase a portfolio of shopping centers (the “Portfolio”) from Colonial Realty Limited Partners (“Colonial”) in 2007.
