MEMORANDUM DECISION

GREENWOOD, Associate Presiding Judge:

{1 Launale Williams appeals from a judgment on the pleadings in favor of MBNA America Bank, N.A. (MBNA). Williams argues that the trial court erred, as a matter of law, in granting MBNA's motion for judgment on the pleadings because (1) MBNA failed to file its amended complaint within the trial court's deadline; 1 (2) Williams's answer to the amended complaint should have been construed as a rule 12(b) motion, see Utah R.
