MoWhoetek, Judge:

Granville D. Westfall subscribed for eight shares of stock in ‘the Washington National Building and Loan Association, of Washington, D. C. The association advanced to him a loan of ’ $800.00, the par value of eight shares of stock, in redemption ■ thereof. Westfall executed his bond, dated July 30, 1894, payable to said association in the sum of $1,600.00, with the follow'ing conditions: "The conditions of the above obligations are ■ such that if the above bound Granville D. Westfall shall well and truly, in the manner prescribed by its charter and by-laws, pay the said…
