The applicant, John Moniz (applicant or Moniz), appeals the denial of his application for postconviction relief in the Superior Court. This case came before the Supreme Court for oral argument on September 25, 2007, pursuant to an order directing the parties to appear and show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not summarily be decided.
