Defendant-Appellant Crystal Lynn Jones pleaded guilty to embezzling from her employer, Teel’s Used Trucks (“Teel’s”) in Hays, Kansas. She objected, however, to the amount of loss asserted in the Presentence Report (“PSR”) prepared by the U.S. Probation Office. Following Ms. Jones’s plea, the district court held a sentencing hearing, at which the government presented evidence as to the amount of loss.
