OPINION

Before RABINOWITZ, C. J., and CON-NOR, ERWIN, BOOCHEVER and FITZGERALD, JJ. FITZGERALD, Justice.

We decide in this case, the validity of section (a)(2) of AS 11.45.030, the Alaska statute proscribing disorderly conduct.

At approximately 4:20 in the morning of June 18, 1973, Trooper Cummings of the Alaska State Police observed an automobile operated in an unusual manner in a residential area of downtown Fairbanks.
