ALLEN, Circuit Judge.

The appellant, together with forty-one co-defendants,1 was indicted for conspiracy to violate the internal revenue laws by manufacturing, dealing in, receiving, possessing and transporting tax-unpaid liquor with intent to defraud the United States.
