Cavert Acquisition Company has petitioned for review of the order of the National Labor Relations Board (Board) compelling it to bargain with the United Mine Workers of America, AFL-CIO (Union); the Union has cross-petitioned for enforcement of the Board’s order. The underlying dispute concerns a union election that was held in 1993 to determine whether certain Cavert employees should be represented by the Union.
