MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

KOELTL, District Judge:

The debtors, Eastern Air Lines (“Eastern”) and Ionosphere Clubs, both filed voluntary Chapter 11 petitions with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (“Bankruptcy Court”) on March 9, 1989. A trustee was appointed on April 19, 1990 to operate the debtors’ businesses and manage their properties. In January 1991, the debtors ceased all operations.
